I somehow consider the London Festival 2012 the begining of this year for LuXuria. It was our last "circus" show and the begining of a journey that brought us to what we are now. Lots of things have changed since then, both in our bondage as in our personal lives. We had many highs and a few lows. We met some incredible people in our numerous travels around Europe. We made new great friends and lost some of the old ones. Life is like that, always changing and evolving.

We have had an incredible year of success. We visited so many different countries (some more than once) doing shows and workshops, we launched our images and clips for sale sites (wich are having an unexpected success), we did tons of photoshoots, we worked together with some of the most awesome riggers.

Unluckily we could not perform at the last London Festival. We were not even allowed to attend it, and this is one of the lows of this year. Celebrating our birthday with all our friends from all over Europe would have been great. But the incredible number of  support messages we received daily during the festival (including the ones of Naka San) are anyway the best birthday gift we could have been given.

Our last show, in Cantada Bar Paris, has been none the less a great way to celebrate our anniversary. A show in wich there were only few minutes of suspension, no visual stuff, just plain emotion and good semenawa. So many people in the audience had tears in their eyes, despite it was definetly an SM show.

More and more riggers are making love to their ropes, we are following a different path, we are making love to eachother. I guess this is the secret of all the great feedbacks we had this year, including the incredible words Kinoko had for us in St. Petersburg. This is why so many people shed tears during our last shows. We are even more determined in following this path, regardless of the fact that specializing oneself into a particular style may make us loose a few costumers.

In all this, I (Wildties), have very little merits. Redsabbath and Morgana have been the real engine of our accomplishments. Their continuous support in the hard times, their dedication, their heart, their way of living bondage as an act of love rather than a way to seek visibility or popularity. They pushed me to change my way of doing ropes regadless the fact we might have lost costumers. They incouraged me every day, they made me the rigger I am. More than once they brough me back on track, the supported me in the bad times, they gave me absolute trust.

Friends have been crucial too. The real ones, the ones that are always there when you need them I will not mention them directly, they know who they are, they are real friends and as such they do not even need or want to be thanked. They are there thats all.  Actually one I'll mention… The one with the ugly t-shirts… thanks for being there! …mate we must visit Decathlon together, really 🙂 Oh.. and the polite asian man who sent me as a gift Japanese rope because he thought I deserved it.  And the Brit couple who cuddled us when we were down. Ups, yeah, also the french guy who was there in one of my hardest moments. Shit I said I would not have written all this! Ok stop! lol

Whats up for the future? We always claimed that LuXuria never stops. And that is it, we have already started to book events for the next year, most of the comunities we visit want us back and this is a real treat for us, trips overseas are also planned. We will focus even more in teaching our style and our vision of ropes. Our Skin and Ropes series of workshops is about to start and we are working hard to increase our production of images and videos. Some very good collaborations with other riggers/organizations are about to start, because we do believe bondage is about sharing. Lots of other interesting stuff will be announced shortly…

This solar year will end in beauty with an event in Vienna, at the Vienna Shibari Dojo, and a great two day of ropes in Paris with Wykd Dave, organized by Ecole des Cordes.

Wildties

After the great success of our cooperation with Wykd Dave and Clover we decided to repeat the experience with another great bondage couple Jack Whipper and Zahara (http://www.jackandzahara.co.uk/). Not only two incredible bondage artists but two amazing friends. And this experience also did turn out to be a great success! A super intensive day of rope, feelings, shows and fun! People from all over Italy, from France, Czech Rep., Holland… WOW!

Day started early, people started gathering at the venue around 9,30 and by 10 Jack was already holding his first class. "the moment of Intention" is a brilliant class that I had a chance to follow in Moscow. But Jack and Zahara have been improving it and the one they held in Rome was simply amazing. I might say one of the best bondage class I ever attended. Also it was the perfect introduction for the next class, my Semenawa class. The two just melted one in the other in such a perfect way. Both classes led the models to have so many strong feelings that tears and runny noses where everywhere.

The two classes took all the morning and at lunch break we had a beautiful surprise. Submotatio, official photographer and owner of the venue, prepared pasta, sandwiches and drinks for all the participants.  He is an awesome guy and part of the success of our roman events is indeed because of him.

Afternoon was dedicated to "the Art of Untying" by Jack and my "Bondage for Sex". Both were very good classes and feedback was great. I really love to work with Jack. We integrate perfectly and we melt our teachings in a very interesting way. We focused almost all our classes on feelings and it came out one of the greatest intensive shibari day that I honestly ever saw.

Around 6pm we had a long break and Jack and I had the pleasure of tying all the models that wanted to experiment our ropes, and damn it they were quite a few lol! So by the time shows had to start we had on our backs a full day of teaching and a few sessions each (not to mention the day before we walked for 7 hours around Rome under the sun). But well its a hard job but someone must do it and damn we did it well.

Many other people joined for the shows including a few vanilla girls.

I was first on stage. I kept very traditional (as in all my last shows) and tried to tie in an as pure as possible Naka Ryu. I performed my favorite suspension and i must say Redsabbath shocked even me with her flexibility, that day beyond usual. My good old bastinado and some humiliation to make her cry beautifully. I kept it simple and focused on her expressions and on the beauty of her suffering. I definitely have found what really suits me.

Jack and Zahara did an awesome show as usual. So different from everybody else. Sexy, harsh, beautiful, funny, the rope they share is always full of so many different shades. Zahara was simply pure eye candy when tied up, her beauty far above most other models. And Jack's skill, flow and inventive make him for sure a world class rigger. It was a great surprise for me to seed that during the day I had converted Jack to Takatekote to the point he used it in show. Guess he will not go back to Gote easily… This couple is really huge and i would make no justice trying to describe their show. Luckily pics and videos are to come soon. If you never saw the do it, you will love them.

Day ended very late, in a great Italian restaurant, enjoying food and friendship. A hard long day but plenty of emotions, feelings, love and rope.

Teaching at Lisbon Fetish Weekend has been one of the best experiences we have ever done! We had a great success and met some of the best and most friendly people!

We arrived in Lisbon on Friday night quite late and MasterM__ picked up us at the airport. He drove us to the venue were the festival was already started and we had a chance to meet the organizers MikeG, isabel and MistressPatrizia that also run the website http://www.consensual.org.pt, an educational project for the  Portuguese BDSM community.

The venue was a huge facility, very high ceilings, and fantastic wooden floor. A beautiful exposition of illustrations from some of the most famous BDSM artists was in display and 5  award winning short bdsm themed movies were projected. We had a little time to socialize and then we were drove the our hotel, a beautiful luxury one, but before we had a nice car tour of the town's city center.

Unluckily by that time Wildties started having the symptoms of a a very bad throat ache and uprising fever.

The day started with a great big breakfast and the MasterM__ came to pick us up. We went to the venue for a private tuition with MikeG and MasterM__. Subject of class were hishi gote shibari, face up suspension and futomomo suspension. Despite we have abandoned this style for our shows and are dedicating ourselves to Naka Ryu presently, it is still fun to teach these things. The fast progress made by the students and the two spacey models enjoying the inverted suspension gave us a great satisfaction.

After class we had time to rest and have some great Portuguese food while the organizers starting setting everything for our show. I was quite surprised to see them pack the room were the performance was to be held with chairs. It seemed unlikely that a kinbaku show would attract more than a handful of people in such a community, so new to BDSM and were rope is practiced just by very few people. But believe it or not the job these guys have done has been so amazing that 100 people filled every possible space in the room! 100 people willing to pay for our show, most of them totally new to rope. Wow, MikeG and the others did such an incredible job!

Wildties fever was rising, but the show had to go on. Good new was that finally we were given a full hour for our show. We are not theater actors, nor we are interested any more in circus bondage. We need our session to be built slowly. Finally we had all the time we needed! Bad news was that we had planned to use a takatekote instead of a gote (arms crossed high in back vs arms parallel to the ground) in show for the first time. But Redsabbath had never tried that arm position for such a long time. Wildties was quite worried but the little redhead is as tough as a nail and wanted to go for it. Also it was going to be our first show entirely in Naka Ryu, 7mt ropes, no use of the bite, etc., so this was adding an extra challenge.

We entered on stage hand in hands, Redsabbath knelt on the floor and was tied in a strict tk. Wildties tied the rigging line and left there there for a bit. That arm position is very powerful on her head, makes her space, she loves to feel it and needs also time for her body to adapt. When raised to standing position and main suspension line was adjusted accordingly, Wildties tied the 3rd rope to the tk. Redsabbath was looking so fucking beautiful in that traditional tk.

After that point memory fades… Fever, emotions, the palpable tension in the audience. We just remember that she went through three of our favorite positions, the split, the one with the leg up high and an inversion with a body lacing. She had pleasure and she had pain. Gags, bastinado, whipping, crotch rope. We were honestly so lost in our session that we could not even describe it, so many details are too confused. When we finished Wildties was worried… He had lost sense of time and thought he had performed only 20 minutes. It was a shock when organizers said that he had gone through all his appointed hour.

Feedback we received after the show (and are still receiving) is stunning. What touches us the most is the number of people that said that they had seen many bondage show before us and always found them boring, aerial performance that was in no way sexy. While our show was loved and made hot even those BDSMers that were not into rope. Also there was a guy that saw a show a year ago at FIP party, when Wildties had just moved to Paris. Though not a rope guy he saw the difference. His description of what changed in our style since then nailed exactly what we are trying to convey to the public. Transitions and fly around were fun, but that's not why we started rope. And now we are showing exactly what we love of rope: beautiful suffering, lovely squirming, pain, shame, intimacy. Most people did not believe we did not rehearse the show (we did not even know we had an hour of time until few minutes before going on stage), and this is a good proof of how everything was fluid and natural.

After show some wine was served and believe it or not the organizers transformed the room in a great play space in just half an hour! The spent month building equipment, so good such I've seen in very few parties in Europe. All kind of benches, bondage devices, cages etc. A great party started and believe me it was one of the best I've seen. Unluckily Wildties fever by that time was really high and we could not stay much. Before going though Redsabbath wanted to try a sensory deprivation box. Just cause the beating she had in show was not enough she got some more in the box. Wildties would have loved to tie the beautiful Portuguese girls but he could barely stand so we left for the hotel to have some rest.

The following morning we had a little tour downtown and ate some great fish. Lisbon is beautiful and we hope to have a chance to visit it properly.

Despite the party ended at 5am the night before we had a good number of people attending the workshop. We spent 5 hours doing good ropes and having fun. We talked a lot about safety, connection, bondage for sex etc. We had a lot of positive feedback and many people wrote to us willing to visit Italy for private class in the future.

Evening ended with a great typical Portuguese dinner in a wonderful restaurant with the organizers. Useless to say it was delicious.

These people are building a new community, facing all the difficulties you can imagine, and they are doing an awesome job. All their didactic and artistic initiatives are contributing to raise the level of the scene in Portugal in a huge way. I have no doubts that Lisbon Fetish Weekend will soon become one of the main fetish events in Europe.

Our trip to Czech Rep. was born really casually. We had received an invitation on Facebook to the Shibari Circle event, a monthly peer rope event in Brno. Redsabbath contacted Kirei, one of the organizers, and asked if they would be interested in a workshop or some performance. Despite they never had international guests, Kirei was very enthusiast and decided to organize two days of Kinbaku Luxuria workshops and shows.

Things moved very fast and in a few days the event was scheduled. We have been very surprised because despite being their first experience organizing this kind of event, and despite the fact the Czech community is quite new to ropes, these people have set up a huge event in only one month. Thanks to Kirei, Borg, Freya, Soptik and many others Kinbaku LuXuria held one of it's best events ever!.

Day one started with some private tuition in the morning and guess what? It was on one of our favorite topics, Semenawa.  Three intense hours of rope torture techniques and predicament bondage. As you all know this is the direction LuXuria has taken since a while.

In the afternoon we held the first workshop with 10 couples. The venue was fantastic, a big room with a wonderful wooden floor, suspension points and some beautiful thick mats. The workshop treated connection, Ichinawa, and rope scene building. Also Redsabbath held a little class for rope bottoms and we talked about how to practice and develop muscle memory and flow. All the participants seemed very enthusiastic and they did a great job. Some beautiful moments of connection have been shown by all the couples.

In the evening we held our two shows for an audience of 60 people! The guys at Shibari Circle did an excellent work of communication and managed to have such a large public participate.

First show was mainly about transition, the old Luxuria style or "circus" as we now define it. It was quite visual and we know people, especially if not into BDSM, love it. Side suspension, double ankle, tk suspension, hip harness suspension and a long single ankle suspension to close the show. Speed and brutal transitioning.  Once again Redsabbath gave a proof of what a tough model she is. Not only the show was hard but she had modeled for class all day and had a little flu.

Second show was a traditional Semenawa show, the new course of LuXuria's kinbaku. We were quite hesitant to do this in public, especially since part of the audience was not into rope or BDSM. But we felt we had to express ourselves the way we like it so we went for it. Kirei did an incredible job and found a big bamboo to use as suspension point, which is how we prefer to work at present.

This show was totally different from the other, the rhythm was slow, music very low, each position kept for a long time to give the model the time to feel the ropes, to suffer them. Between different position Redsabbath had the feet on the ground to rest a few second between different torture positions. We started with a very slow TK, and then a very splitted suspension in which she received a heavy bastinado. Then a very tough vertical suspension, with one leg pulled up very high, one of Wildties' favorites this period (as you might have seen in many of the latest pictures). Here she received some genital torture through coconut rope as well as some intense erotic stimulation. Then it was time to lace her thighs and suspend her reversed by them. Gag, clamps with weights and some sizzling waxing. She really took an incredible amount of pain. But… this is not the end, Wildties was very inspired and wanted to give her some good honest sense of shame. He lowered her to the ground, legs tied up and used his wooden dildo on her in front of all the audience.

A very sensual and dramatic untying ended the show, with Redsabbath shivering exhausted in the rigger's arms. Despite the big public we held a real private session. The new, genuine LuXuria style.

Feedback after the show has been incredible. Most girls said it was the hottest thing they ever saw. We received some of the warmest and most touching compliments ever (including some saying that Wildties set a new standard of the term sadistic bastard). Moments we will never forget. The night continued with a bondage party until 2 am. Both model and rigger were so overwhelmed and exhausted that they could do no more rope that night, but still we enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and hospitality.

On day two we held workshop in the morning. Main subject being how to freestyle. It was fun to see the riggers challenged by some quite bratty bunnies. Also we answered many questions and gave a lot of one to one advice.

Sadly at 3pm we had to leave for the airport, but the wonderful moments spent in Brno will always be in our heart! We loved Czech people of the Shibari circle so much. and they loved us so much, that we already started planning a second event for the near future!

Before leaving Soptik (a man with a fetish for shears lol) gave to wildties a pair of very special EMT shears. Much better than the usual ones, they cut 200% better and are made of an incredible heavy duty metal. They will always be part of our rigging equipment.

It has been an incredible experience. We met so many great people and felt all the warmth of Czech hospitality. A big thanks goes to Kirei for believing in us and wanting us their first international guest. To Freya for the huge effort in organizing the event, the three days of hard work at the venue and for doing all she could to make us feel comfortable at all time. To Soptik and Simona for hosting us at their place, taking care of us and being such a good company. To Borg, a man of great sensibility and our personal driver. A big thanks to all the people involved in the event, all the students of the workshop and all the audience of the show.

Kinbaku LuXuria will be giving two workshops qnd four (yes I said four!) shows in Russia!

Thanks to Boris Mosafir we have been invited in Moscow and St. Petersburg from Nov. 30 to Dec.4 to hold two workshops and perform twice in each city.

Wildties and Redsabbath are honored for this invitation and will do their best to show some of the best LuXuria style and bondage to the growing Russian community. Theese guys are really great and their bondage scene is growing in a very fast way. Also a few of them have already performed internationally in events like The London Festival of the Art of Japanese Bondage showing some incredible bondage.

Unluckily, even if invited, LuXuria could not partecipate to the Ropefest festival that Boris organized some months ago. So this invitation is even more welcome because the scene there appears to be really good and all the reports from ropefest where great.

Four shows in three days is a lot but Wildties is very confident because redsabbath is one of the toughest and most hardcore models in the scene! Also we will hold workshops in both cities. We would like to explain our vision of rope bondage and shibari, put the accent on rope as play and erotic activity rather than as a performance art, pure LuXuria style!
