Happy Birthday LuXuria! Today we celebrate our first year of activity and boy… this has been an incredible journey!

So many things have happened this year, so many people supported us, so many new friends were met. This has been such an incredible year we can hardly describe all the beautiful adventures we went through. We started as an almost unknown group of bondage lovers, a rigger and some models, and within a year, we managed to become one of the most active realities of the European bondage scene.

And all this was done only through our passion and dedication to Japanese Bondage. We had no important sponsors, no money, no experience, no place to hold classes or shows in. Even finding the money to buy rope, at the begining, was something difficult.  But we had heart, guts, passion. We had to fight for every centimeter, but we never gave up. Each member of the team had to learn how to do communication, improvise our selves photographers or video editors, learn how to manage a website. But we loved what we were doing, we loved our dream and we worked hard enough to make it come true. We had ups and downs, hard moments to deal with but we always managed to rise again even stronger than before.

It is a wonderful coincidence that in the day of our birthday we found in our mailbox a copy of Massad Magazine featuring a wonderfull six page article of us, with lots of pictures.

We are particularly proud of this article especially because it features pictures of some of our former models. They do not appear anymore on our website, but their contribution to making LuXuria what it is, and making Wildties the rigger he is, will never be forgotten. Whithout them we would not be were we are.

But thats not all… As we often say LuXuria never stops and we are about to get a plane and fly to Czech Republic for a couple of workshops and two shows, one of our usual transition/circus shows and one in pure traditional rope torture style (wich is definetly the new path we are following). And this is only one of the many events to wich we have been invited this year. Our agenda is already totally full. And this is a further proof of how much good work we have done this year.

We are happy, proud, excited. But we know we still have a lot to improve, a lot to learn, a long road still to walk. We will work even harder this year to improve our bondage skills, make better shows, make our workshops even more interesting and produce many more captivating images and videos.

As mentioned many people helped us in this wonderful year. We would like to thank them all but we would end forgetting some. So we will keep it general, who is in our heart knows he is…We thank heartily all our supporters, all our inspirators, all the friends that have been close in the difficult times. We thank all the photographers that worked with us, all the models, all our students. Especially we want to thank all former members of the Kinbaku LuXuria team. All this is still yours too.

A great year behind us, a greater year infront. Stay tuned because LuXuria never stops!

As our followers know well, Kinbaku LuXuria is not much active in Italy (Wildties native country) for a number of different reasons. Still many of the Italian rope lovers often ask us to make some event in Italy.

We decided to do something great, not only having our team perfom and teach, but by inviting a prestigious international guest. The choice was very easy… who better than Wykd Dave?

It is well known that Dave has been and still is one of Wildties greatest source of inspiration. He is the one who radically changed the approach Wildties had to bondage. Beside this Dave is an outstanding performer, together with his beautiful partner Clover, he has held shows all over the world extasiating his pubblic. Watching this couple perform is amazing, their connection is unbeatable, their comunication through rope is something that leaves breathless.

Dave is also a suberb teacher and a real expert in Japanese Bondage technique. Also Clover is a great rope bottom educator.

Kinbaku LuXuria has the great pleasure to present this event that will see Wykd Dave and Wildties teach together in a full day workshop. The event will include a lecture for rope bottoms by Clover and Redsabbath, free time for rope practice and play, and two Japanese Bondage shows.

As mentioned in one of our previous blog entries Kinbaku LuXuria has an incredible amount of events scheduled, most of wich allready feature on our agenda page. In the next few month we will be visiting many different countries for shows, classes and workshops.

Our first international travel of 2013 will be in Czech Republic!

The Shibari Dojo in Brno invited us for two days of workshops and performance, also we will attend their rope jam party.

 Ok the site has been rebuilt. what had to be deleted is gone, we set up a new portfolio page and new banners have been created. Also a few new galleries have been added.

Now its time to think about the real deal… BONDAGE!

Our calendar is becoming more and more busy every day. We are receiving invitations to teach and perform all over Europe. We will write about each event in advance so keep following the blog to be updated on our moves.

February will be a very full and creative month. We have already 3 scheduled shoots with some incredible photographers, actually three of the most quoted. So stay tuned because there will be some incredible picture sets coming very soon!

Also we will perform at two big events in Paris, details on this also will follow in the next blog entry.

The great unexpected success of our little homemade preview has encouraged us to work even more in that stylistic direction. feedback from all over Europe, Usa, Russia and Japan have been massive, and it was just a homemade test shoot!

 February should be the month in which we will film the first real movie of our new bondage video production. We will have a great videomaker, three cameras, superb sound and great editing. That's not all! Some new great models will take part in the project and we will shoot in a number of fantastic locations.

So there are a lot of things going on and lots of news to come. Stay tuned and read our blog to have all the latest info on our work!

LuXuria Rocks!

As you may have have noticed lots of picture sets and videos have been removed from the website. Months of passionate work, of feelings, of beautiful bondage gone in smoke. 

The decision was not taken by Kinbaku LuXuria. Two of the models portrayed in those images and videos asked us to remove them. Honestly this is something really we really disagree on, not only for the great damage this causes to us and for the big deal of work it will take to make new banners, video teasers, flyers etc. What really is upsetting is that those images and videos are anyway spread all over the web. Blogs, websites, bondage organizations, photographers will continue to display our images and Kinbaku LuXuria will be the only one not to benefit from it. Also some material was posted just a couple month ago on request of one of the models, together with an extended commemorative biography.

We could have said just no, but we want to avoid any contrast so we took the sad decision of removing the material in question. It has been like deleting bits of our heart and soul. We are sure that the emotions we shared through those pics and videos will not be forgotten by our public. Nor will the contribution those models gave to the birth and prosperity of Kinbaku LuXuria be forgotten.

We are sure the models will have the same honesty an not use the images and videos in question to promote themself or other bondage organization.

We are still waiting for the videos of Redsabbath and Wildties performing at Bound, LFoAoJRB and in Russia. For different reasons none of this videos have yet been given to us. We hope to be able to have them and publish them soon even if we strongly doubt it will be fast.

As mentioned our new video production is work in progress and first clips may be issued within a month or so. Also we have quite a few new shootings scheduled with some new, beautiful models. So stay tuned because some great material will be soon uploaded.

LuXuria in Russia

Great emotions are coming back to memory while we start writing this post about our trip to Russia…

We arrived in Moscow and our first big challenge was to orienteer and find the Aeroexpress train to reach the city center though everything was – of course- written in Cyrillic! All was full of recent snow and the air was pretty freezing so we immediately got into the Russian mood.

Nevertheless we managed quite easily and the sweet Aliya was welcoming us at the underground station. Well this was a pretty funny experience. We soon realized that Moscow is very crowded, and all the gates to the underground are very narrow to prevent the cold air to get indoor… so we found ourselves literally stuck in queues to reach the trains!

Once we reached the flat that our friend and guest Boris rent for the days in Moscow we had a warm dinner, a good Russian beer and a hot tea, and instead of just relaxing, as Karol wanted to taste some LuXuria style, Wildties improvised a very intense and involving Newaza session, he tied her using just the floor and a big chair, a very suggestive moment of private connection that Karol seemed to appreciate a lot!

We chatted and relaxed until late evening, while planning the day after workshop and performances.

On 1^st December we were guested in a very cozy and warm BDSM pub, named Geometria. A very welcoming kinky atmosphere, great ambient, and lots of suspension points! We run a workshop in the afternoon mainly focused on Takate Kote and Safety, that flowed very well in spite of the simultaneous translation very professionally delivered by Alex, who is also a bottom that likes to be tied.

The level of participation and interest positively surprised us so we were pretty excited for the night shows!

The evening started with our first performance that was a suspensions and heavy transitions one, very dynamic so to warm the atmosphere.

Then several good performances followed with our Russian friends as main protagonists!

Let us quote the always sensual and elegant self-suspension of Aliya, a feast for the eyes to see her beauty and bendiness in ropes.

Then we had the chance to see Karol performing, her model was  very beautifully surrendering to ropes and Karol showed a nice degree of creativity, she has a really personal style.

Then Boris performed with Aliya, it was a very rich show with great music and different heavy transitions for the model, Boris can offer a highly artistic effect!

The night was not finished as there were two more shows to go before our last performance!

We already had the chance to see Vlada and Falco at LFAJRB in October, but this time we were amazed from the incredible stamina of Falco: this guy looks like he can take everything in ropes, he processes pain and discomfort in an impressive way.

It was the first time we saw Ivan Salamandr performing instead: and we must say he has a good energy in tying, very sensual and with a good pace.

Our second and last performance closed the evening. We decided to do something very unusual for a show. We chose to make it more like a real session, full of predicament positions and SM, instead of focusing on the model flying around.

Even if we were wondering about the possible reactions of the audience, in the end we had an unexpected result, people screaming “bravo” and coming for congratulations after the show. We were very glad to see them appreciating and understanding the emotions and depth of real Japanese style Kinbaku. It was great to see some of the girls in the audience in tears from the emotions!

The night was long and we had many more chances to go on chatting, drinking vodka (oh a lot of Vodka!) and tying beautiful girls!

The day after we left by a high velocity luxurious train to St Petersburg.

We had a pretty long travel and as soon as we arrived we reached the new place where we were supposed to perform: the Aurora club, a huge fantastic location where concerts take place, and that already hosted the RopeFest organized by Boris in June.

The first thing we discovered when we arrived was… that in our space didn’t exist a suspension point! It was incredible to see Boris, Wildties and Sergej literally building a solid and safe suspension structure in the stage in only 30’!!

So we started again with a first show more based on transitions and dynamics, even if always in pure traditional Japanes apparel and style.

Then we had Aliya in a new self suspension show, always very smooth and intriguing.

Karol proposed a new improved version of her show very based on creating beautiful choreographies with the body of the model.

We were really amazed by both the two new performances from Boris, modeling Sascha and Valya, both the shows were very sensual and with a touch of increasing connection between the Rigger and the models.

The night ended again with our second show, we offered as in Moscow a more intimate, slower session, based on rope torture and beauty in suffering. Again this kind of performance conquered our audience especially when Wildties literally sat on Redsabbath while she was suspended and used her a a swing!

After a well deserved relax, the day after we had some free time to visit the city, and Boris was our perfect guest showing us some very beautiful slices of the heart of St Petersburg like the astounding Winter Palace and the Nevskij Prospekt.

In the evening we had a workshop in an interesting lovable photo studio, again with a focus on Takate Kote and Safety, and it started in a very suggestive mood as Wildties was freely improvising and tying up Sascha when all the participants arrived, so they were in complete silent enjoying that magical moment of private show.

We stayed until late answering questions, sharing tips and tricks, and we realized… it was ended too soon!

Infact the day after , after spending some time together with Boris and having a typical lunch together, we were flying to Italy in the early afternoon.

Well.. what to say. It was an incredible good time and very enriching experience.

We really want to thank Boris Mosafir, a good friend, an incredibly fast growing Rigger, a perfect guest.

We want to thank Aliya and Karol, they were very welcoming and caring all the time.

And we want to thank all the beautiful and funny people we had the luck to meet there, despite the snow and the cold, Russian people were so warm and enjoyable that we were already missing them while checking in for our flight back home.

We are very anxious to go back both to Moscow and St Petersburg for the respective RopeFests the next summer.

We’re still waiting for some shots and videos from the four performances, so we will upload as soon as we have them all the full galleries.

And here are the results of the Bondage Awards, and guess what? LuXuria had incredible outcomes!

But before talking of our placement we would like to spend two words on what we think of the competition itself. Bondage is not competitive and this particular contest is more about popularity than about the quality of the bondage. Also the voting system is quite awkward, allowing people to vote for themselves  and self inscribing into different categories (i know some European riggers that inscribed themselves practically in every category… lol).

As the contest is made mainly for the American audience the presence of Japanese style riggers among the top positions has always been almost insignificant in the past years, due to the larger networks of american bondage artist's as well as a major focus on western bondage.

Still this results makes us very proud! And not only for the result in itself, but mainly for the people that decided to inscribe us in the first place and then supported us through all the competition.

We were running for 5 categories and we ranked within the top 5 in every one of them, including 3 podiums of which one is a 1st place! We think we can honestly say that we are the top ranker among the Japanese rope people!

So here are our placements:

1st place for Best Picture.

A great picture by Cuore Nudo. And guess what… it's not a fancy circus suspension, but a moment of deep connection during an untying, between Redsabbath and Wildties. This proves that people appreciate the heart and feelings that we put in our bondage, one of our distinguishable trade marks!

3rd place New Bondage Website

Since it was born our website has offered lots of new picture sets every month. A huge effort that is well priced by this placing. Honestly I would have expected even something more looking at our competitors, but still this it's a great result.

3rd place Best Glamour Bondage

We wonder who inscribed us in this category. But yes we did have a glamour period, especially during some past cooperation's (see sets like Stoneage of kinbaku and River). Still the support of people is appreciated even if we do not really feel represented in this definition.

Runner up for Best Rigger

This is a big surprise! Wildties is indeed a good rigger but we did not expect him to be so popular. He is rigging since less than a couple of years and already being up there, representing the world of pure Japanese style ropes, is a great honor! Despite this result makes us very happy we are quite disappointed not to see up there some great European riggers that would have well deserved to be ranked.

5th place Best Model

And this is what we are more proud of! Seeing Redsabbath up there, between all the pro models, makes us so so proud. People priced her way of living ropes, the emotion she shared through her pictures and her shows. Despite being a non professional model Redsabbath has one of the biggest heart for ropes that you can possibly find around. In this year with LuXuria she spent more time hanging by one ankle than walking on two feet, this results is so so well deserved!

We would like to thank all that supported us (mostly people that enjoyed our work through Fetlife), but in the first place those who inscribed us in the different categories. Your appreciation is the best price to our work.

We also hope that our placement will contribute to make Japanese style bondage more and more popular and that next year all the great European riggers will see their efforts prized as well because they well deserve it. To some extent we are even ashamed to have ranked higher than some of our greatest inspirers. With the growing popularity of Japanese Bondage we are sure that everybody's work will be rewarded as it deserves next year.

It is never too late to talk about this great Halloween party I had the luck to attend last month.

I was in Paris for some class and my friend Morgana, who modeled for my classes, invited me to join her for the Halloween party at Cris et Chuchotements, a very popular BDSM club in Paris.

I had heard a lot of good things about C&C, especially about their Friday afternoon party called "Les Goûters du Divin Marquis", but I couldn't imagine that it would have been so good!

The club is divided on many levels, with small rooms that give a very intimate atmosphere. Each room is furnished in a very classy way and fully equipped with all kinds of BDSM implements. Crosses, spanking benches, rigging points can be found everywhere. The bar serves every possible drink and free snacks where available.

Being Halloween's night party the club was literally packed with people and the energy was really good. All kind of BDSM folks hang out there and it was amazing to see how many different personalities have choose C&C as their regular gathering point for BDSM nights.

I had a chance to finally meet in person DocVale and Philippe De Beaumond, two french riggers, that run a monthly event called "L ECOLE DES CORDES", still held at C&C. I had a great time doing rope with them and I strongly suggest you attend their event if you are in Paris.

I must say that in such a great night one would never stop tying… My designed victim for the night was Morgana, a beautiful French model and my great friend. The poor girl was tied three times during the night, each well over 30 minutes and I didn't spare her from heavy transition, SM, and a good deal of mean stuff. Her stamina is amazing and I was absolutely surprised that she was able to take one of the hardest bastinado's I ever gave almost as nothing (but she had a blue foot for a week lol).

I also did a double suspension with Morgana and the beautiful Lin. Obviously unable to tie with any connection, and help by the sparkling personality of the two models, it turned out into a very funny cabaret. I guess my skills in French language must have improved because everybody was laughing at my jokes.

What to say more? C&C is a great club both for people into ropes and for those that love other forms of BDSM. The organization is great and all the folks that hang around are super cool. I strongly suggest to attend to their events! On my part I'll be there very soon!

Kinbaku LuXuria will be giving two workshops qnd four (yes I said four!) shows in Russia!

Thanks to Boris Mosafir we have been invited in Moscow and St. Petersburg from Nov. 30 to Dec.4 to hold two workshops and perform twice in each city.

Wildties and Redsabbath are honored for this invitation and will do their best to show some of the best LuXuria style and bondage to the growing Russian community. Theese guys are really great and their bondage scene is growing in a very fast way. Also a few of them have already performed internationally in events like The London Festival of the Art of Japanese Bondage showing some incredible bondage.

Unluckily, even if invited, LuXuria could not partecipate to the Ropefest festival that Boris organized some months ago. So this invitation is even more welcome because the scene there appears to be really good and all the reports from ropefest where great.

Four shows in three days is a lot but Wildties is very confident because redsabbath is one of the toughest and most hardcore models in the scene! Also we will hold workshops in both cities. We would like to explain our vision of rope bondage and shibari, put the accent on rope as play and erotic activity rather than as a performance art, pure LuXuria style!

Kinbaku LuXuria will finally be in Rome for a workshop and two ( yes two! ) private sessions! Since the great success that our workshops and private sessions are having throughout France we decided to create a special event in Wildtie's native country. Date is June 16, the location a small beautiful theater in the northern part of Rome.

Workshop will cover basic safety issues as well as a couple of main ties of shibari / kinbaku. Also there will be an extensive part dedicated to erotic power exchange through ropes and the "gran finale" will be bondage for sex!

Two private sessions are scheduled, a highly erotical floorwork session and a hard SM suspension performance. The models will be Redsabbath and Gorgone, need to say more?
